WHY CINEMAS
Here are our reasons:
"A picture is worth a thousand words."

What impact does a movie have on the mind of a girl or boy?
IN A PROJECT
The impact of the films on children, young people, and adults—the recipients of the Ollin Detlani project and its target audience—lies in the fact that these films:
"They move their viewers because they reflect the thoughts of another human being about a world that is common to all of us."
OF CHARITY?
Let's think of a hypothetical poor village of natives in the countryside.
What do they eat? What do they grow? Do they have water to irrigate? Sometimes.
What clothes do they wear? What the government gives them.
What entertainment or recreation do they enjoy? None.
How do they educate their children? In schools without roofs, with dirt floors, or without a school at all.
Have you ever seen photos of an indigenous village with a movie theater? They don't exist.
No television, no internet, no computers, no cell phones, maybe a radio.
Ollin Detlani's cinemas are also schools, auditoriums, theaters, community gathering spaces, museums, concert halls, cultural centers, and symbolic temples of enlightenment and hope for the future.

Wouldn't you like to contribute a little to help make this dream come true?
If there's a movie theater in an indigenous village, the government will send them theater productions, dance performances, music performances, talented soloists, and painting and sculpture exhibitions, all free of charge.
